Cryo-prober
Small form factor cryogenic prober currently operating down to 800 mK.
The cryo-prober is the beating heart of our technology. It features a 3-axis piezo positioning unit, a sample holder with heater and temperature sensor, an interchangeable probe card, and standardized electrical connectors. We adhere to the highest manufacturing standards and only select high-quality non-magnetic materials.
Dimensions
With a diameter of 80 mm, the Cryo-prober fits into any type of cryostat with a smaple space larger than 80 mm.
Positioning unit
The Cryo-prober features a three-axis positioning stage with a lateral travel range of 20 mm and a total probing area of 400 mm². The travel speed is between 0.1 and 0.3 mm/s with a power dissipation of ~1-10 mW.
Sample holder
The standard sample holder uses a clamping mechanism and fits 20 x 20 mm² chips. It also includes a temperature sensor and a 2 W heater. For maximum thermalization, the sample can be glued to the sample holder. Customized sample holders are also available.
